Cigar Box Uke No. 002

Notes:

The original cigar box bottom (top of the ukulele) was a far-too-thick piece of laminate that was destroyed when I tried to thin it. I ended up making a replacement top using this wood salvaged from an antique cigar box that had come apart at the seams. Lovely wood, as it turns out, nice tap tone.  I originally thought it was mahogany but now I think it's meranti.
