Notes:
I'm pleased with this bridge design. It's
original, but quite similar to the standard designs except for the
"disappearing" strings, which terminate in a tied knot that's hidden in a tunnel
at the tail side of the bridge. The ebony I used was a gift from my friend, Don Moyer of
Eugene, Oregon. It's of extraordinary quality, and works beautifully with the fully
compensated bone saddle. The intonation of this uke is excellent.
