Vivitar 28mm f2.8 MC wide angle Canon FD mt.
You're
viewing a Vivitar 28mm F2.8 MC wide angle lens in Canon FD mount. The
serial number is 28171562. The
focusing is smooth. The aperture ring operates as it should
with distinct detents at each stop. The aperture blades are clean and
oil-free. I don't have a Canon body to check it with, but the stop-down
lever seems to bring it to a consistent opening each time, relative to the
aperture setting.
The glass is excellent, with no marks fungus or fogging. There is some paint wear to the front edge of the filter ring, and some wear overall from use. The filter ring has a very slight "wave" to it on one side, but not enough to prevent it from accepting a filter. The filter threads are in good condition. Front and rear leans caps are included.
