C. C. Walters Art Glass Vase

You’re viewing an art glass vase by C.C. Walters. the vase measures 7-3/8 inches tall by a little over 4 inches at its widest point. I think this shape is called a "Tut vase" after the shape of vases found in the boy Pharaoh's tomb. The base color is amethyst, but so dark the vase appears black. It's wrapped with applied threads of blue and green glass. The pontil is covered with a foil sticker that reads “Hand Blown Glass by C.C. Walters” and includes a telephone number. The signature engraved into the bottom is "C.C. Walters '87”. The vase is in perfect condition with no chips, dinks,  cracks or flea bites.
