Iridescent Blue Footed Dish

Up for auction is this Iridescent Blue Footed Dish. This is a shallow dish and it looks almost like some kind of blue carnival glass. It measures about 6 inches in diameter and is about 1-inch deep, tapering to about -inch deep. The foot measures about 3 inches in diameter and it's about 2 inches tall overall. It's in excellent condition, with no issues at all. It proved difficult to show the iridescence of the dish in my photos. The dark background shows it best.

In addition to its striking blue color it has 14 rays radiating from the center outward. The rays are raised on the outside of the glass and continue down through the foot. I don't know what the original intended use for this would have been, but it would make a dandy serving dish for bon-bons or petit fours.
